  1. We did a garage sale fundraiser last fall and raised almost $2000! Doing another one in a few weeks. I'll pray yours goes as well as our last one did!

  2. ahhhhhh. Another morning. The sun has risen over the mountains in Alaska and is preparing to set in Rwanda. Where you are. Where you're heart waits. We are trying to busy ourselves with a big fundraising sale...almost like a party. How wonderful it would be to see a photo of you, Jubilee, this week. Actually it would have been great to have seen one 3 months ago! But we didn't. We still don't know anything about you and when we might see you. But you are a secret and a hope that resides in all of our hearts. Your mommy and daddy and brothers go about their days with you tucked in their hearts, and they see your bedroom with it's sweet birdies and flowers every day. Even the birdies await news of you. Their songs are hushed by the unknown. We ask our Heavenly Father every day to keep you safe, to whisper in your ear His love for you, and to show you His presence and to remind you that there is a family who is very far away that waits for news of you, that waits for you. To hold you and love you in real life. What we are living now...the eternal waiting and hoping and dread and then hoping again isn't really living. When we welcome you finally home....then we can really start living again. Be brave little Jubilee. It has to be soon.

  3. All That Thrills My Soul
    by Thoro Harris

    Who can cheer the heart like Jesus,
    By His presence all divine?
    True and tender, pure and precious,
    O how blest to call Him mine!

    Refrain: All that thrills my soul is Jesus,
    He is more than life to me;
    And the fairest of ten thousand
    In my blessed Lord I see.

    Love of Christ so freely given,
    Grace of God beyond degree,
    Mercy higher than the heaven,
    Deeper than the deepest sea!

    What a wonderful redemption!
    Never can a mortal know
    How my sin, though red like crimson,
    Can be whiter than the snow.

    Every need His hand supplying,
    Every good in Him I see;
    On His strength divine relying,
    He is all in all to me.

    By the crystal flowing river
    With the ransomed I will sing,
    And forever and forever
    Praise and glorify the King.

    Still praying...LZ
